Made By Chileans exceeds 3,000 licensees throughout Chile!

The brand use program continues to grow and to incorporate companies, entrepreneurs, institutions and, recently, spaces and territories that strengthen the identity by taking the Marca Chile seal to the world.

The program for the use of Marca Chile, Made By Chileanscreated by the Fundación Imagen de Chile in 2016, exceeded 3,000 licensees and today groups organizations and projects with a presence both in Chile and abroad. To date, the initiative has 3,310 licensees, of which 68% correspond to products and 32% to services, with presence in more than 150 international markets.

Last November, the initiative won first place in the Best Citizen Engagement category of the City Nation Place Awards 2025, held in London, one of the most important awards for territorial brands worldwide.

Made By Chileans provides a free license for the use of the Marca Chile seal, which allows the emblem to be incorporated in different promotional media. In this way, the program seeks to strengthen the reputation and competitiveness of the brands, expanding their projection both in the local market and abroad.

In recent months, the program has expanded its call to include spaces and territories, adding cultural and heritage initiatives that contribute to the country's story. Among the new members are the Parque del Estrecho de Magallanes, the Virginia Opazo group of Santiago -the first heritage neighborhood to incorporate the seal- and the Corporación Cultural Semanas Musicales de Frutillar.

Last November, the initiative won first place in the Best Citizen Engagement category of the City Nation Place Awards 2025, held in London, one of the most relevant awards in territorial branding worldwide, which highlighted its ability to link actors from all over the country in building Chile's image.

Regarding the scope of the initiative, the executive director of Imagen de Chile, María Teresa Saldías Morales, said: "The fact that more than 3,000 actors have decided to use this seal shows confidence in a program that was born in Chile and today is observed with interest by other country brands. It is a source of pride to see how companies, entrepreneurs and territories have turned Made By Chileans into a community that authentically projects what we are".

Chile is made by all of us
Currently, more than 50% of the members of this program are from regions other than the Metropolitan Region, which highlights the diversity of this initiative. The application is made through a specially designed website, with a simple and accessible process. The evaluation considers factors such as trajectory, origin, alignment with the country's values, impact, projection and contribution to Chile's positioning abroad.

"Made By Chileans is an open invitation to those who believe in the value of what is born here. Each new licensee expands the reach of the label and adds a voice to the country's story. If a product, service or project provides identity and projection, here it has a space to grow and connect with new opportunities," said Victor Palma, director of Strategic Alliances of Imagen de Chile.
