"Made by Chileans" Surpasses 4,000 Licensees

Ten years after its inception, the trademark usage program has expanded its reach to entities in various sectors and regions, which help identify the national origin of products and services developed and marketed both within and outside the country.

October 5, 2026.

A total of 4,220 licensees are currently part of Made by Chileans, the brand usage program promoted by Fundación Imagen de Chile that allows the “Marca Chile” brand to be used as a seal of origin on domestic products and services, both in the local and international markets.

Of this total, 68% corresponds to products and 32% to services. The sectors with the largest presence are food and beverages, tourism, wine, creative industries, and services. Geographically, 50% is concentrated in the Metropolitan Region, 17% in the northern region, and 33% in the southern region.

Through their exports, program participants have a presence in more than 150 countries, with key markets including Argentina, the United States, Brazil, China, Japan, and Spain.

Ten Years of Expanding the Use of the "Marca Chile" Brand

Founded in 2016, Made by Chileans seeks to promote the value of Chilean origin in products and services, helping consumers identify with the country and expanding the Brand Chile’s reach to domestic and international audiences.

The program has experienced particularly significant growth in recent years. Between April 2024 and March 2025, 1,050 new licensees joined the program, while another 1,070 joined in the following period. For the period beginning in April 2026, 500 new participants have already been registered, and this process is still ongoing.

The application process is entirely online, free of charge, and open to all entities whose products or services are of Chilean origin, contribute to the country’s image, comply with current legal regulations, and have been in business for at least two years.
