The trip included meetings with authorities and trade associations, and conversations with local media, to promote the campaigns led by the institution and encourage the use of the Chile brand on products and services in this southern region of the country.
The executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, visited Temuco to invite companies and organizations to join the Chile Brand Use program, an initiative promoted by the institution to proudly show the Chilean origin of products and services.
During the visit, the executive director of Imagen de Chile met with the governor of La Araucanía, Luciano Rivas, with whom she discussed how the country image strategy "Chile Creating Future" is being implemented, and about ways to promote the country brand together.
Constanza Cea also met with representatives of the Temuco Chamber of Commerce to seek collaboration in order to expand the use of the Chile brand among entrepreneurs and companies in the region.
"The Chile brand today in the world is associated with quality. If you ask about Chilean products, what most distinguishes us are their high-level characteristics, and that is great news considering that 15 years ago, what we were associated with was low prices. All this speaks of how Chileans have been able to add value to what we do", said the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, during an interview with Radio Biobío in Temuco.
"One way to involve Chileans in the task of communicating our country image is through Marca Chile. We have more than a thousand users nationwide and 28% of them belong to the southern part of the country. Today we have 40 licensees from the Araucanía region, and we want many more to help us take all the good things about this territory to the world", added Constanza Cea.
