A Chilean proposal that responds to the new energy requirements and the housing challenge of the country of the future.

After its outstanding participation in the Wood Week 2025, where it captivated visitors and experts in the field, AYMA Architecture and Environment will once again exhibit its Transportable Ayma Module (MAT), this time in the municipality of Peñalolén, bringing sustainable innovation to the local community.

The exhibition will be held over the next few weeks in the foothills of Peñalolén, where AYMA is currently developing its regenerative housing projects, integrating architecture, nature and energy efficiency in a unique environment.

A response to the new regulations and the housing crisis

The MAT was designed under the principles of circular economy, energy efficiency and low environmental impact, in anticipation of the Housing Energy Rating (CEV) and the new MINVU Thermal Regulations, which will come into force in October and November 2025.

With a base area of 49 m², expandable with modules of 24.5 m² according to the user's needs, the MAT integrates natural insulation panels (PaillePanel), wood and earth partitions (RekoPanel) and green roofs (Techo Ayma), achieving a high standard of habitability and thermal comfort.

During the fair, the proposal stood out for its constructive innovation and its comprehensive approach to sustainability, positioning itself as a national benchmark in ecological modular housing.

Trajectory and innovation with a Chilean seal

With more than 20 years of experience, AYMA has developed six sustainable condominiums in the eastern sector of Santiago, in addition to residential and institutional projects, consolidating itself as a reference in regenerative architecture in Chile and Latin America.

His work has been distinguished with international awards and national recognitions, endorsing the innovation of his proposals.

The MAT project is sponsored by CORFO, AOA and Marca Chile, in addition to the support of national companies such as Topwood, Timbermac, MK, Folimag and Rainbird, among others.

With this new exhibition in Peñalolén, AYMA reaffirms its commitment to bring sustainable architecture closer to the people, providing concrete housing solutions that combine design, wellbeing and harmony with the environment.
