Celebrate Heritage Day at Hotel Almacruz

We invite you to explore the Hotel Almacruz, an iconic landmark in downtown Santiago that houses a valuable permanent exhibition dedicated to pre-Hispanic peoples and the cultural treasures that delight visitors from around the world. We will conclude with a visit to the temporary exhibition by artist Magellin Santana, a moving collection of oil paintings depicting Inca children alongside their burial goods and offerings, inspired by discoveries made on various peaks of the Andes mountain range.

Celebrate Heritage Day at Hotel Almacruz
 This iconic hotel is located at 65 San Antonio Street,
in Downtown Santiago.
As it does every year and as part of its cultural program, Hotel Almacruz joins
the national celebration of Heritage Day 2026 with an invitation to
discover a cultural treasure in the heart of Santiago through an experience
that connects the pre-Hispanic past with contemporary art.
On Saturday, May 30, at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., the general public can
enjoy a guided tour of the facilities and admire the valuable permanent exhibition
dedicated to indigenous peoples, a space that amazes
visitors from around the world.
“This year we have designed a program that blends history and culture,
inviting the public to immerse themselves in the pre-Columbian legacy,” notes Cynthia
Galdames, Head of Experiences at Grupo Almacruz.
The day will include an exclusive visit to the temporary exhibition “Capacocha” on the
sixth floor. Artist Magellin Santana will accompany the tour to discuss her
moving collection of oil paintings, which portrays Inca children alongside their
burial goods, inspired by archaeological finds from the high Andean peaks.

Additionally, and following the free Heritage Day tours, the special “Chile in Your Glass” tasting will take place at 5:00 p.m. at
. This is a sensory journey through the history, identity, and rich heritage of Chilean wine,
which includes the opportunity to discover heritage grape varieties that have shaped the winemaking legacy of Chile and the continent,
exploring aromas, stories, and
traditions that remain alive in every glass.
In addition, the wine tourism experience includes 4 glasses of wine from small-scale
producers.
