The project, executed by the Universidad del Bío-Bío and financed by the Regional Government, aims to make the region's creative products visible beyond the country's borders.
In order to promote creativity and innovation in the Creative and Cultural Industry sectors of the region, the FIC "Future + Art" project held a multi-sectoral meeting with the six areas that make up this initiative implemented by the Universidad del Bío-Bío and funded by the Regional Government.
The UBB Innovation Building was the space for representatives of the Music, Audiovisual, Architecture, Design, Visual Arts and Dance sectors to meet and exhibit their creative products with a local seal, which seek to conquer the international market with high competitiveness.
The activity included a seminar on the internationalization of products and services, a business roundtable and a multisectorial meeting, with the participation of the outstanding designer Fernando Contreras Wood, from Mateo Ragni Design Studio, Milan; Nicolás Mladinic from Corfo; Víctor Palma, head of the Chile Brand Use Program of Imagen de Chile, Ramón Paredes from Prochile and representatives of the business association Asem Biobío.
The FIC project: "Future + Art", aims to strengthen the creative and cultural sectors of the region, articulate a territorial value network that generates synergies between public and private actors, promote enabling initiatives for innovation in the productive matrix, and position the region as a competitive center with international projection.
Currently, about 50 companies and organizations operating in the Bío-Bío region are part of the Chile Brand Use program, which allows the use of the Chile Brand license as a seal in the promotion of products or services, thus positioning the value of the origin in the national and international market.
