The astronomer, writer and science communicator, Teresa Paneque, was appointed Unicef Ambassador in Chile, in the framework of World Children's Day. She began collaborating with the organization in 2022 and "her work has made it possible to raise her voice for the inclusion of girls and women adolescents in science, migrant children, the importance of mental health and the role of parents in raising children," Unicef said in a press release.
