Giro del Lago Llanquihue: Chile's great cycling festival

Since 2013, the Giro del Lago has become the most emblematic cycling event in Chile, and this year 2025 is back with a new edition that promises to exceed all expectations. More than a thousand cyclists from all over the country and abroad will gather to face one of the most challenging and beautiful routes in southern Chile.

With a distance of 163 kilometers, the Giro del Lago begins and ends at Playa Venado, Puerto Varas, passing through iconic towns such as Llanquihue, Frutillar, Puerto Octay, Ensenada and Cascada. All this framed by a unique landscape dominated by the majestic volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, Tronador and Calbuco.
