Steamed mussels

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 unit of chopped white onion
  • 1 peeled garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon whole black pepper 
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 ½ kilo of mussels
  • 1 cup white wine
  • fresh cilantro for garnish.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Step 1 - Wash the mussels very well with cold water, style and set aside refrigerated.
  • Step 2 - Separately in a pot, fry the onion and garlic in a little oil. Add celery, cilantro, pepper and the mussels.
  • Step 3 - Turn up the heat and add the white wine all at once. Cook for 5 minutes or until the mussels shells open.
  • Step 4 - Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
