The two companies are part of a consortium called Highly Innovative Fuels (HIF), which includes Siemens Energy, Enel's subsidiaries in Chile and several companies in the Latin American country. HIF has obtained final permits to produce green hydrogen and climate-neutral synthetic fuels under a project called "Haru Oni". The Italian Minister of Ecological Transition values the multi-technological approach to the environmental problem.
