Last January, Marca Chile invited around thirty international press correspondents based in the country to a new annual working meeting, where it presented an overview of the main information activities carried out during 2025 and strengthened its collaborative ties with foreign media as part of its mission to tell the world about Chile.

This work took the form of trips, press conferences, and meetings in the field, allowing for the gathering of content related to the country's territorial, cultural, and productive diversity, as well as its development projections.

From the driest desert on the planet to the southern tip of the continent, these actions brought to light stories that reflect Chile today and its future challenges. Among them were the country's scientific leadership in astronomy, with visits to the ESO telescopes in Antofagasta; the diversity of tourist experiences throughout the year, such as winter tourism in Nevados de Chillán; and deeply rooted cultural events, such as the Fiesta de La Tirana.

The agenda also addressed strategic initiatives for the country's international projection, such as the new Concha y Toro Wine Center, the Port of San Antonio expansion project, and visits to key areas for conservation and research, including the Vicuña seed bank and the future Cabo Froward National Park in the Magallanes Region.

Meanwhile, press conferences and informational meetings were designed to provide concrete support for journalistic work, facilitating access to relevant sources, information, and contexts, and strengthening Marca Chile 's role as a liaison between the country's various stakeholders and the international press.

As a result of this sustained effort, 1,867 articles were published in international media outlets in 2025, expanding Chile's reach and visibility on the global stage. This joint effort with international press correspondents will continue to be developed as a key pillar for informing and promoting the country to the world.
