EU and Chile sign partnership on raw materials

The European Union and Chile signed on Tuesday (18.07.2023) a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation in the field of sustainable raw material value chains that are necessary for clean energy and the digital transition of both partners.

"We are like-minded, share the same values and are chosen partners to become key global players in clean energy and the digital transition," said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who witnessed the signing of the partnership agreement alongside Chilean President Gabriel Boric.
