The Foundation and the public media group signed an agreement that seeks to enhance the country's image, each one joining forces in its own role. This agreement will be materialized from the collaboration with audiovisual material, to the generation of milestones that will strengthen the country's image in Chile and especially abroad.

In order to strengthen and enhance Chile's presence at the international level, Fundación Imagen de Chile signed for the first time a strategic alliance with a television channel: Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN).

This agreement implies a mutual support between both institutions, which will allow TVN to access graphic and audiovisual material produced by the Foundation, being at the same time a platform that supports the positioning of the Chile Brand at international level and the exhibition of content that shows the contributions that different actors are making from Chile to the world.

"It is very gratifying to have achieved this alliance with TVN, which will allow us to continue showing Chile at an international level," said Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile. "Given the role of both organizations, it is a natural alliance that was pending, and that will allow us to join forces around what identifies us, telling Chile to the world from the contributions made by all the inhabitants of our country," she added.

For its part, Televisión Nacional valued the agreement between the two institutions. "We are very pleased to achieve this collaboration with Imagen de Chile, as it allows us to strengthen the coordinated work to enhance the positioning of Chile, particularly abroad, through our international signal TV Chile," said Alfredo Ramirez, Executive Director of TVN.

Imagen de Chile is the institution in charge of executing the country image strategy 2020 - 2030 "Chile Creating Future", which, through press management with international media and audiovisual campaigns in strategic markets, seeks to show the talent, creativity and innovation with which Chilean men and women are contributing to the creation of a better future.

TVN is Chile's public channel with 100% coverage of the national territory. In its public role, its mission is to promote and disseminate democratic values, culture, education, citizen participation, national identity and regional or local identities, multiculturalism, respect and care for the environment and diversity. TVN also has 4 signals: two free-to-air and digital signals TVN and NTV; a pay TV channel focused on news, Canal 24 Horas; and an international channel abroad, TV Chile, in addition to its digital platforms: OTT TVN Play, www.tvn.cl and www.24horas.cl and 9 regional centers, which produce local news and information throughout the country.
