The startups will participate in ChileMass Innovation Day, an annual innovation gathering to be held October 6-7 at MIT and Harvard University.
ChileMass Emprende 2022 -a program organized by Corfo, ProChile and ChileMass that seeks to promote Chilean scientific and technological entrepreneurship- announced the 15 finalist startups that will travel to Boston, a city that has become one of the most important innovation, entrepreneurship and technological development ecosystems in the world.
The agenda of activities already programmed includes ChileMass Innovation Day, an annual innovation meeting to be held on October 6 and 7 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University, where Chilean startups will present their pitch to angel investors and representatives of various venture capital firms.
The 2022 version of this program features a group of technology companies from different industries, such as education, clean energy and food, with great potential to make a positive economic, social and environmental impact.
The Chilean ventures selected are:
CloudPromo Analytics: Benefits and customer loyalty management platform. It incorporates new modules based on analytics, Machine Learning and web scraping to generate customized promotions and benefits per customer.
Biombillas: Biodegradable straw made from cereal cane, HACCP certified and commercially validated, manufactured through a technology-based industrial process.
Blups: Edible straw made with natural and plant-based ingredients; in addition to resisting temperatures and maintaining its shape, it is biodegradable and compostable.
EMMA (by Asgreen): Digital platform for energy management. Developed with artificial intelligence, it facilitates energy management for decision makers, achieving sustained savings of up to 15% of energy consumption.
FACTO: B2B Marketplace designed as a platform to increase a company's profitability by integrating diverse information -such as inventories, customers, reports, collections and taxes- to automate sales cycles.
Kon3cta: Mental health platform for work teams, encouraging employees to live happier and more balanced lives, encouraging organizations to provide mental health support that is accessible, personalized and effective.
MDEyeCare: Vision screening system that enables early detection of vision problems through an easy-to-use platform that uses artificial intelligence, allowing the delivery of eye exam results quickly and accurately.
MyRIAM System: Comprehensive technological solution specialized in industrial maintenance based on 4.0 technologies, which allows the integration of a large amount of data for analysis and informed decision making, in order to increase industrial performance.
Neocrop Technologies: Development of new crop seeds in record time, combining gene editing, rapid breeding and artificial intelligence, with the aim of providing sustainable agricultural production adapted to climate change conditions, thus helping to ensure global demand for food and nutrition.
Nua Talker: Customer care solution that automates conversations through voice and text channels and supports integration with third-party platforms such as CRM and ERP, increasing the productivity of call center agents.
Ocean Arks Tech: A vessel that allows fish to be farmed offshore in a sustainable manner, using copper mesh and patented technology, reducing problems associated with coastal farming, such as seabed degradation, fish disease and mortality, and the use of antibiotics and chemicals.
P&M Foods: Functional foods, which simulate everyday meals, are low in calories, gluten-free, vegan, high in protein and dietary fiber and have a satiating effect, in order to improve the diet and make it healthier.
Remote Waters: Water purification systems, with low-cost operation and quick installation, to guarantee access to drinking water to communities that do not have access to it.
SIDGMAN Coupling: Innovative coupling system for joining industrial steel pipes carrying corrosive or abrasive fluids, increasing the safety and service life of the pipe and reducing installation times.
T-share: Collaborative social network for Spanish-speaking educators that combines social networking interactions, online training and monetary rewards to take your teaching methods to the next level.
