After its arrival from Teotihuacan, Mexico, the Pan American fire moved through cities and territories in the north and south of Chile, where athletes from different regions carried the flame to the capital.

The record of the tour, which covered from the lush Valdivian Rainforest to the arid Atacama Desert, and even the island of Rapa Nui, was made by the Santiago 2023 Corporation together with the Fundación Imagen de Chile, in record time.

The material, which premiered during the opening day of the Pan American Games, captured the passion that sport awakens in our country, highlighting the enthusiasm of the people who accompanied the athletes, as well as symbolisms such as the one seen when the flames coming from the north, center and south were unified into a single fire when entering the National Stadium Park, in the hands of the Chilean swimmer and Pan American medalist, Kristel Köbrich.

A week after its release, the video has been widely disseminated on social networks, with more than 250 thousand views on different platforms around the world.
