The fame of Chilean products is growing abroad. This is evidenced by a perception study carried out by the Imagen Chile Foundation in twelve of the world's main cities. The attributes with which they are most associated are good quality (57%), low prices (31%) and artisanal production (26%).
Sustainability stood out for increasing by 10 percentage points (from 16% to 26%) compared to the previous measurement carried out in 2020. Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile, said that this attribute is "key" because the "world is increasingly demanding when it comes to deciding its purchases and we see that caring for the environment and the carbon footprint are factors that increasingly weigh on consumption decisions."
