Spicy Crab

  • 1 kilo of cooked crab meat
  • 2 marraquetas
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon colored chili
  • ½ teaspoon fresh oregano
  • 3 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoon ground green chili
  • ½ kilo new potatoes, cooked with skin and peeled
  • 1 cup cream
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Crab claws for decoration and chopped parsley.
  • Step 1 - Shred and clean well the crab meat, removing pieces of claws or shell. Set aside.
  • Step 2 - Separately, soak the bread in the milk for 15 minutes, grind with your hands and set aside.
  • Step 3 - Separately, in a frying pan, sweat the onion in butter, add the chopped garlic, chili bell pepper and oregano. Add the oyster sauce and a little water, season with salt and pepper. Cook until the onion is transparent. Add the soaked bread and mix well. Cook for a few minutes over low heat.
  • Step 4 - Add the crab meat and incorporate the ground green chili. Finally, add the potatoes, cream and grated cheese, cook for 2 minutes and remove from the heat and distribute the picante in the individual clay pot.
  • Step 5 - Garnish with hot crab claws and hard-boiled egg mixed with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
