Ingredients
  • 4 units of hake whole, cleaned and opened
  • Ground white pepper
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 clove of ground garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 egg unit
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup wheat flour
  • ½ cup of beer
  • ¼ unit grated carrots
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying.
Instructions
  • Step 1 - In a bowl beat the egg. Add corn starch and flour. Incorporate well with the help of a whisk and gradually add the beer.
  • Step 2 - Add the grated carrot and season with salt. The smoothie should be homogeneous, but not too thick.
  • Step 3 - Separately, in a bowl, season the hake fillets with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and lemon juice. Set aside
  • Step 4 - Pass each fish through the batter, fry on both sides in deep oil. Remove with a skimmer on a dish with absorbent paper.
  • Step 5 - Serve with potato salad, Chilean salad or grainy rice.
