Ingredients
  • 6 pieces of steer brisket
  • 2 clove garlic
  • Fresh oregano to taste
  • 2 ½ liters of water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 unit of onion chopped in half a feather
  • 1 carrot chopped into sticks
  • ¼ of red bell pepper chopped in strips
  • 6 to 10 units of peeled potatoes
  • 6 pieces of sweet potato squash
  • 4 tablespoon wide grain rice
  • 6 pieces of corn with pits
  • 1 cup chopped green beans
  • ⅓ cup shelled fresh peas.
Instructions
  • Step 1 - Put the beef, garlic, oregano, salt and water in a pressure cooker. Cook for 35 to 40 minutes. Set aside
  • Step 2 - Separately, heat oil in a pot and add onion, carrot, red pepper and fresh oregano. Sweat for a few minutes and add the reserved meat with the filtered broth. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 3 - Add the potatoes, pumpkin and rice. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Step 4 - After the time has elapsed, add the corn, green beans and peas. Cook until soft.
  • Step 5 - Serve hot. Optional: serve with green chili or salsa verde.
