Step 1 - Sift the flour, baking powder and powdered sugar on a surface. Form a crown and add the butter, egg, egg yolks, lemon zest and brandy or pisco to the center.
Step 2 - Mix all the ingredients and form a dough, without kneading.
Step 3 - Roll out the dough ½ cm thick and cut rectangles 5x9cm long.
Step 4 - In each rectangle make a cut in the center, pass one end of the rectangle and stretch slightly.
Step 5 - Fry in abundant oil a few at a time, until lightly browned. Remove excess oil with absorbent paper.
Step 6 - To serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar, serve warm with palm honey.
