From southern Chile, Teatro del Lago and Marca Chile signed a new collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening the country brand's ties with regional cultural institutions and promoting Chilean culture internationally. This alliance with one of the most emblematic cultural venues in Chile and Latin America, located in Frutillar, represents a highly valuable partnership for positioning the country as a benchmark in culture, arts, and experiential tourism.

Renowned for its architecture, acoustics, and first-rate artistic programming, the Teatro del Lago has established itself as a space that connects artists, audiences, and cultural managers from around the world.

"We firmly believe that Teatro del Lago can contribute through culture and the arts across all our international networks: in Europe, the US, and throughout Latin America. We want to work with Marca Chile to continue promoting Chile's culture and high-quality art, and we want to share it with the world," says Gonzalo Larenas, executive director of the Teatro del Lago Foundation.

“The world’s best musicians have performed on this stage, coming from all corners of the globe, and they are amazed because it is a stage on top of another stage, which is the natural world that surrounds us. Therefore, sharing such a wonderful space, surrounded by Chile’s natural beauty, is undoubtedly a memory that many will cherish forever and remember fondly every time an artist steps onto this stage,” adds Larenas.

A partnership with a cultural and territorial focus

With this alliance, Marca Chile reaffirms its commitment to a national narrative that recognizes and values regions as cultural drivers, while the Theater consolidates its role as an international benchmark for Chile's cultural development.

"This work with Teatro del Lago adds to the work we have been doing with various cultural institutions throughout Chile that are part of the committee we coordinate at Marca Chile. This led to the initiative we have called'Chile, Cultural Territory,'which reflects the diversity our country offers the world in cultural matters," says Enzo Abbagliati, acting executive director of Marca Chile.

"This theater welcomes more than 45,000 people every year. The fact that Marca Chile can work alongside the theater, speaking to these people, is an asset," concludes the executive director.
