Representatives from the public and private sectors participated in the event and were able to share the contributions and projects with which their organizations are promoting these areas.
The executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, headed a new working group on Tourism and Sports with the aim of coordinating joint collaboration and learning about the contributions of each organization in these areas.
During the meeting, the executive director of Imagen de Chile presented part of the country image strategy "Chile Creating Future", indicating that this is part of the need to redefine how the country wants to position itself in the eyes of the world in the next 10 years.
"Chile is creating the future from conservation, as a gateway to Antarctica, when it develops clean energy, when we start projects for the production of green hydrogen. There are different areas from which today we are creating the future and the invitation we want to make to you is to tell us how from your different areas, from your organizations you are contributing to this task," said Constanza Cea.
"This is a concept that involves a vision, a capacity to generate change, to contribute, to connect with what the world is looking for, and to generate those answers from Chile," he added.
Among the participants were the Undersecretary of Sports, Andrés Otero; the Undersecretary of Tourism, José Luis Uriarte; the director of Sernatur, Andrea Wolleter; the executive director of Conaf, Rodrigo Munita; the president of the Chilean Olympic Committee, Miguel Mujica; the executive director of Rewilding Chile, Carolina Morgado; the director of Santiago 2023, Felipe De Pablo; the CEO of Explora, Gonzalo Undurraga; the executive vice-president of Fedetur, Helen Kouyoumdjian; the CEO of Wheel The World, Álvaro Silberstein; the director of Tourism of ProChile, Jaime Velarde, among others.
