The tours to the Cachapoal, Alto Colchagua, and Maule valleys promise a comprehensive experience that includes culture, gastronomy, and the iconic "Disco Train."
With the aim of promoting wine tourism through a unique experience that combines railway heritage with modernity and entertainment, EFE Central officially kicked off its summer season for its Tourist Trains. The invitation is to discover the country's most emblematic wine valleys, departing from the heart of Santiago, for both Chileans and foreigners.
Aboard the iconic UTS 444 trains, recently refurbished for passenger comfort, travelers can choose between Salon and Preferred seating options. The itinerary is designed to be an "all-inclusive" solution, covering round-trip transportation, snacks, shuttle buses to the vineyards, guided tastings, lunches at traditional estates, and access to shops with exclusive prices.

The reunion on rails for EFE Central this season represents a strategic opportunity
to bring train tourism to new audiences. Paula Fernández, Passenger Manager at EFE Central, highlighted the social and cultural value of this offer:
"Our priority is to put the train at the service of tourism and people. We want passengers to find in these journeys a space to enjoy and rediscover the train in an iconic way. It is a unique opportunity to disconnect from routine and live an unforgettable experience, discovering wonderful destinations close to Santiago with the safety and charm that only the train can offer," he said.
Culture and celebration: The Disco Tren label
Beyond the landscapes and wine tasting, the distinguishing feature of this season is the Disco Train. During the return journey, the train is transformed into a space for celebration with music and dancing, making it the ideal setting for groups of friends, birthday celebrations, and tourists looking for an alternative to traditional transportation.
The summer season for Tourist Trains includes destinations in the Cachapoal, Alto Colchagua, and Maule valleys, with departures scheduled every weekend in February. More information is available on the official website www.efe.cl.
EFE Central thus reaffirms its commitment to the development of regional tourism, inviting everyone to join in this adventure that combines tradition, scenery, and fun on rails.
