With the aim of amplifying the presence of the Chile brand and bringing it closer to millions of people in their daily lives, the Imagen de Chile Foundation and EFE Central signed a collaboration agreement that will enable joint actions to be developed in the railway system in the central region of the country.

Through this alliance, both institutions will work on initiatives that include the presence of Marca Chile at stations and informational material inside trains; campaigns promoting national tourist destinations; and joint actions aimed at strengthening environmental awareness and the use of clean public transportation.

EFE Central is a subsidiary of the State Railway Company, which operates passenger transport in south-central Chile, with commuter and long-distance trains on its four services: Nos – Estación Central; San Fernando – Rancagua – Estación Central; Chillán – Estación Central and the Talca – Constitución branch line, which together connect 23 municipalities across the 486 kilometers covered by the entire network.

"Chile is moving forward on rails. We are expanding train capacity across all our services, and there are more trains in development, along with projects that are very important for mobility, which will enable us to change the vision of transportation to one that is truly sustainable, efficient, and safe. So we are very happy about this alliance, which will allow us to show the world the benefits of our service and how we contribute to the country's development," says María Constanza Villalobos, general manager of EFE Central.

Through this alliance, both institutions will work on initiatives that include the presence of Marca Chile at stations and informational material inside trains; campaigns promoting national tourist destinations; and joint actions aimed at strengthening environmental awareness and the use of clean public transportation.

"This collaboration will allow the Chile brand to reach millions of travelers each year, integrating itself into spaces that are part of the daily lives of thousands of people. It is a clear sign that our country is moving decisively toward modern, efficient mobility that serves its citizens," says María Teresa Saldías, executive director of Imagen de Chile.

In recent years, EFE Central has experienced sustained growth in the use of its services, consolidating its position as a key player in mobility in the central region of the country. In 2024 alone, the company transported 28,312,916 passengers, while in 2025—up to November 30—it has already recorded 27,544,706 trips, reflecting the high demand and growing role of the rail system in people's daily lives. These figures reinforce the scope and potential of the alliance to project the Chile brand in a space of massive and permanent use.
