Step 1 - In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water with the sugar. Set aside.
Step 2 - On a smooth surface, sift the flour with the salt and make a crown in the center. Add the butter and the reserved yeast. With a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients until a dough is formed. Knead for 5 minutes, until it is smooth and flexible.
Step 3 - Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
Step 4 - Punch down the dough and knead until smooth and soft. Form 12 small loaves with a smooth surface. Place them on a baking tin, prick the surface with a fork and let stand for 30 minutes covered with a cloth.
Step 5 - Preheat the oven to medium-high temperature (190°C).
Step 6 - Bake the breads for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
