"We Care" and "Chile, country of women" campaigns are finalists in the City Nation Place Awards 2024

The prestigious international contest has recognized among the best the productions of Fundación Imagen de Chile, in the categories "Country Brand of the Year", "Best Citizen Participation Campaign" and "Best Use of Design".

City Nation Place, the global platform for the development and promotion of territorial branding strategies, announced the list of finalists for its tenth annual awards, in which Fundación Imagen de Chile applied in three categories, with two of its campaigns.

This is the country story campaign "We Care", which highlights Chile's values and strengths, summarized in the areas of sustainability, democracy and diversity. This, in its conceptualization, development, implementation and design, was selected in the categories "Country Brand of the Year " -where it was a finalist together with Costa Rica, Finland, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Ghent (Belgium)-, and "Best Use of Design " -where it competes in the finals with Ecuador, Denmark, Kapfenberg (Austria) and Norfolk Coast (United Kingdom)-.

Meanwhile, the campaign created for Women's Month 2024, "Chile, Country of Womenwas among the finalists in the "Best Citizen Participation Strategy" category , along with Costa Rica, the United States, Austria, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Rossana Dresdner, executive director of Imagen de Chile, said that "this recognition is a source of pride and a reflection of the collaborative work we have done to project a solid and coherent country image, not only at the international level, but also integrating our own community in this process. We see that this phrase that we have repeated all year, "the image of Chile is built by all of us", makes sense at a global level".

The winners will be announced on November 7, in an official ceremony that will be part of the "City Nation Place Global 2024" in London, an event in which the executive director of Imagen de Chile will also be part of the expert panel "Place Leadership Panel: Pulling the right levers", along with Barry Rogers, Head of the Dublin City Tourism Unit, the Director of Country Brand Costa Rica, Adriana Acosta, the Brand Strategist Swedish Institute, Christian Biller and the Director of City Nation Place, Clare Dewhirst, among others.
