The European Union and Chile signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday (July 18, 2023) that deepens cooperation on sustainable raw materials value chains which support the clean energy and digital transition for both partners.
"We have similar ideas, we share the same values and we are partners who have chosen to become key global actors in the clean energy and digital transition," stated the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who signed the Association Agreement alongside the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric.
