The collaboration is generated in view of the "Year of Democracy in Chile", the slogan with which the centenary of the Electoral Service will be celebrated during 2025, and seeks to promote actions to position the country's image around democracy, both internationally and nationally.

In a meeting held on Tuesday, August 13, with the participation of the president of the Board of Directors of the Electoral Service, Andrés Tagle; the executive director of the Fundación Imagen de Chile, Rossana Dresdner; and the national director of Servel, Raúl García, a collaboration agreement was signed between the two institutions.

The partnership aims to align efforts towards 2025, the year in which the Servel commemorates its centenary, and which the institution has called the "Year of Democracy in Chile". For the Fundación Imagen de Chile, this alliance is in line with the narrative that the institution has built to promote the country brand globally, democracy being one of its fundamental pillars. For the Servel, in its role as the guarantor of democracy in Chile, it is crucial to promote awareness of its work both nationally and internationally.

"Chile demonstrates that it has a solid democracy, where the people really express themselves and their decisions are reflected in the authorities that lead us. This is fundamental for those who are interested in establishing relations in our country, since democracy is one of the pillars that reinforces this agreement with Fundación Imagen de Chile. This agreement is especially significant in the context of the centenary of the Electoral Service, which began as a registry and has evolved to become a pillar in the dissemination of our image and the strength of our democracy", said Andrés Tagle, president of the Board of Directors of the Electoral Service.

This agreement reinforces "Democratic Chile", one of the three main axes of Chile's narrative.

"One of the main strengths of Chile's image in the world is its democracy. We are a country that believes in its institutions and their capacity to resolve the major issues of our coexistence. And we believe in democracy not only as a procedure, but as a value that identifies us, that is part of our identity and the way in which we relate to the world. Therefore, for us, this joint work agreement with Servel, an institution that is a pillar of our democratic system, is very good news, not only for the Foundation, but also for Chile", said Rossana Dresdner, executive director of Fundación Imagen de Chile.

The National Director of Servel, Raúl García, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration with Fundación Imagen de Chile. "Their experience in positioning the image of our country, its values and principles is invaluable. We firmly believe that the Electoral Service, together with our political and democratic system, is one of Chile's main assets. This alliance reinforces the promotion of the democratic values we share, and is a great achievement for the country," he said .

Through this initiative, Imagen de Chile will support Servel in the organization of events, communication strategies, the digital ecosystem and campaigns, in addition to providing access to studies and press reports that are useful for Servel's management.

On the other hand, Servel will provide Fundación Imagen de Chile with the use of audiovisual material, contents and studies that may be relevant to strengthen the country's image, as well as to support the Foundation's work in the positioning of democracy.
