our presence at these international events will allow us to generate new business, strengthen commercial relations and position Chile as an attractive and competitive destination at a global level". Cristobal Benítez, national director of Sernatur.
The National Tourism Service announced an intense participation in the most relevant tourism fairs in the world, which is part of its international promotion plan for the year 2025, with the objective of consolidating Chile as a first class tourist destination.
In this way, this calendar of events will showcase the diversity and richness of the experiences offered by the country, as well as give national tourism companies the opportunity to showcase their tourism products.
Cristóbal Benítez, national director of Sernatur, emphasized that "along with continuing to put Chile in the eyes of the world, our presence at these international events will allow us to generate new business, strengthen commercial relations and position Chile as an attractive and competitive destination at a global level, in order to have a positive impact on tourist arrivals to each of the national destinations. The invitation to tourism companies is to apply and promote their offer in the different markets we are targeting".
The authority also explained that the international promotion plan defined a strategy to achieve these objectives, with an emphasis on international promotion, meeting tourism, press and influencer travel and training for the sector.
Among the most important fairs in which Chile will be present are Fitur in Madrid, ITB Berlin, WTM London and the Adventure Travel World Summit, which will be held in Puerto Natales. These fairs are a platform where the national tourism industry will be able to establish contacts with operators, travel agents and media from all over the world, which in turn will result in greater visibility for Chile and its destinations throughout the country.
