This marketplace focused exclusively on national creation brings together 400 Chilean SMEs and more than 15,000 products 100% made in Chile that are carefully selected to highlight talent, the quality of raw materials and local creativity. On the World SME Day, we take a look at entrepreneurship with a local stamp.
Convinced that there was a lack of awareness of the products made in Chile, the quality of the creations made only with Chilean materials and the national talent behind them, industrial designer Constanza Correa created in 2014 a blog with data and reviews of Chilean artists, designers, artisans and other creators that she was discovering and that amazed her with their proposals. And it caught on. Thousands of readers in Chile (and the world) began to read and follow her blog, and even important national design media followed her lead. Suddenly she found herself connecting the protagonists of her reviews with her readers who were looking to buy the works or products she selected.
This is how this blog became www.creadoenchile.cl the main marketplace focused exclusively on Chilean creation with more than 400 brands and 15,000 products that go through a demanding selection filter and the expert eye of this lover of design and what is made in Chile. On its website you will find a complete platform of products ranging from creations for the home, women, men and children; they have a line of personal care brands, beauty and gourmet products. In addition, books, jewelry, experiences, among many other Chilean offers to buy online. They also have physical stores that are visited mostly by foreigners looking for products that contain our identity.
The success and growth of Creado en Chile is due to the community they have built with Chilean creators belonging to this network, to whom they provide dissemination services, sales and all the logistic solution every time something is sold, which has especially benefited artisans from remote corners, for example. In addition, Creado en Chile has the commitment to sell all products at the same price at which the brands sell on their own direct to the public.
Currently, Constanza works with a team of 13 people who help in the selection of creators and two new partners joined, the civil engineer Francisco Claro and the commercial engineer Manuel Labra, the latter is now focused on strengthening the international strategy to export the business model to other countries and open spaces for quality Chilean creation in international markets.

Creado en Chile is working to strengthen and support the SMEs that are part of its platform, which is why every day more and more are joining this collaborative showcase. One formula is the alliances they have created with national and international companies that want to make more visible a commitment with Chilean SMEs, entrepreneurs and creators, for example, through the Creado en Chile giftcards, which they use to give to customers or collaborators.
