Two remote coastal locations in Chile will be the first to have access to the satellite internet services of the Starlink project in the coming weeks. Starlink project in Latin America, on an experimental basis and free of charge during the first year, announced Monday the Undersecretary of Telecommunications (SUBTEL).
Starlink, a division of Space X, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, is a network of small satellites created to provide high-speed, low-latency Internet services to remote locations around the world where communications are problematic.
