Abillion, a digital platform that promotes sustainability and plant-based foods, revealed its awards for the World's Best Vegan Ice Cream 2021. The winners were determined after evaluating more than 2,000 ice creams from 180 brands between June 1st, 2020 and May 31st, 2021 by Abillion members. The awards are based on consumer ratings, number of reviews and consumer perception score.
NotCo, the brand that won this year's first and second best ice cream, is a Chilean food technology company that produces plant-based alternatives to animal-based food products. NotCo was founded in 2015 and has become the fastest growing food company in Latin America.
