More and more Chilean companies are proud of their origin and want to show it to the world. So much so that this month the number of companies using the Chile Brand to promote their products and services surpassed the 900 mark, according to figures released by the Fundación Imagen de Chile.

"According to the studies we have conducted, the Chile brand is associated with origin, identity, quality and trust. It is also associated with work for Chileans. Using the Chile brand not only adds value to the products, but also allows us to continue building our brand together at a global level and increase the preferences of our products and services around the world", says the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea.

The Chile Brand Use Program, born in 2016, consists of granting the use of the Chile Brand license as a seal in the promotion of products or services (labels, packaging, stationery, website, among other supports), with the objective of positioning the value of the origin in the national and international market.

Of the total number of companies using the Chile Brand, 64% are products and 36% are from the services area, and among the companies the main sectors using the brand are from the creative industries, food and beverages, tourism, wine and services.

Thus, companies in fields as varied as cosmetics, agriculture, architecture, IT services and even the marketing of puzzles are joining the branding program on a monthly basis.

"Any company or organization with purpose, inspiring, and that wants to represent Chile through what it knows how to do, is invited to be part of the network of more than 900 organizations that today demonstrate to the world how we are creating a future for the planet," said Constanza Cea. "We hope to soon reach 1,000 and that this network grows more and more, to take the best of Chile to the world," added Cea.

Of the total number of companies, 57% are from the Metropolitan region, 15% are from the northern region and 28% are from the southern region.

These 900 organizations give the Chile brand a presence in more than 90 countries through their exports, with the following markets standing out: Argentina, the United States, Brazil, China, Japan and Spain.

Among the companies that have been licensees for the longest time are Monarch, Zeitun, Cerveza Guayacan, Monarch, Popeye, Pisco Waqar, El Colorado, Tika, Algramo, Jugos Tamaya, Chocolates Entrelagos, BuinZoo and Kunstmann.

Meanwhile, some of the emerging companies that stand out are Solubag, Chilean Gifts, Joya Plástica, Cordillerana, Rapa Nui Natural Products, By Maria, and Le Mouton Vert.

"It is important to emphasize that the Marca Chile program is completely free of charge. I invite Chilean companies, products and services to join this program and carry this seal of origin, of quality, of trust. Together we can make this brand more valuable, more recognized and, of course, preferred all over the world. It is in our hands!", said Constanza Cea.
