In a virtual meeting with the editors of the main international media and agencies in Chile, the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, presented the new country brand strategy with which Chile will seek to position itself internationally by 2030.

Chile Creating Future is the name of the new strategy and audiovisual campaign that is already being disseminated abroad and seeks to highlight the talent of Chilean men and women as agents of change, focusing on what Chile can contribute to the world.

"It was necessary to update and unify the central message with which we want to project Chile to the world. 'Chile Creando Futuro' (#ChileCreatingFuture) is a message that speaks from the Chileans of today, from our talent and creativity capable of giving different answers and contributing to shared needs in the world. We are a young country, connected to the world, building its future. And future is not only technology or AI, future is connection with nature, healthy living, clean energy and collaboration. All this adds value to the Chile brand and that translates into opportunities for all Chileans," said Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile.

The press conference was also attended by the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rodrigo Yáñez, who valued Chile's connection with the world through its commercial and multilateral openness, and its vocation to adapt to the new challenges of the 21st century; and by the Director of the National Tourism Service, Andrea Wolleter, who pointed out that the new trend in tourism that will emerge after the pandemic will be the search for a greater connection with nature and emphasized that Chile is prepared for this scenario.

At the event, the protagonists of the first audiovisual piece of the Chile Creating Future campaign were presented, Chilean creators of ventures that have successfully made their way abroad, generating value and brands with purpose, such as NotCo, Betterfly (Burn to Give), Wheel the World, Karün, Viña Emiliana, Bosque Hundido, Solubag, Algramo, Fundación Basura, Balloon Latam, Socialab and ArchDaily.
