The film "The Wealth of the World", debut feature film by Chilean director Simón Farriol, will premiere at the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India and competes in the Best Debut Feature Film Director category.
This event, which takes place between November 20 and 28, is one of the most relevant and prestigious in the Asian market.
"The Wealth of the World" tells the story of two combatants from the Chilean wars of independence in the early 1800s who attempt to return home from a terrain unknown to both of them.
Simón Farriol is a visual artist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a screenwriter from the Escuela de Cine de Chile. In 2014 he premiered his short film "Un hombre en la tierra de Dios" at the Marché du Film Short Film Corner at the Cannes International Film Festival.
