Yesterday was the farewell to the national delegation that will represent the country at the European Film Market, the major audiovisual market of the Berlin Film Festival, which brings together producers, distributors and representatives of the global film industry.
This meeting is doubly relevant because this time Chile will be the focus country, making it the first in South America to be part of this special section that aims to promote the cinematography of a particular country, putting films and talents in the best showcase.
The authorities Constanza Arena, Director of CinemaChile together with Juan Carlos Silva, Undersecretary of Cultures and Arts, Daniela Montiel, Director of Strategic Alliances of Imagen de Chile and José Arias, Marketing Director of ProChile, were in charge of dismissing the delegation composed of about 70 professionals, who will be between February 20 and March 1 in Berlin.
