The main character of the Oscar-nominated documentary will be the voice behind a new campaign that seeks to show that our country is on the lips of renowned global agents.

The campaign will be shown in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and is expected to reach more than 7 million people around the world.

"My name is Chamy, Sergio Chamy". With a scene from 007: Quantum of Solace filmed in the Atacama Desert, the protagonist of the documentary El Agente Topo returns to the screen, this time as part of a new international campaign of Imagen de Chile that seeks to show how our country is present everywhere.

From well-known television productions, such as The Simpsons, sports in the hands of Chilean athletes, or in the voice of international referents such as former President Barack Obama or Al Gore, the Chile Creating Future Everywhere campaign seeks to show our country in the voice of global agents, whether from culture, science, sports, among others.

"It's a new adventure for me. I have been in other audiovisual events, but a campaign to go abroad is something new. I feel proud to have been chosen," says Sergio Chamy, during the filming of the campaign.

"An event like this is an opportunity, you have to be able to make your country known, show the talent, creativity, and all the wonders that Chile has. When they call me, I go," he added.

Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile, explained about the campaign: "Sergio Chamy, our beloved mole agent, is the protagonist of our new campaign "Chile Creating Future Everywhere", because on the one hand it allows us to reach our audiences in a novel and playful format, and at the same time transmits a very clear message: Chile today is present everywhere in international popular culture. Just as Don Sergio represented us very well at the Oscars in 2021, he embodies the idea that talent is something unique to Chileans".

Chile Creating Future Everywhere

The campaign, which was directed by Chilean film and television director Nicolás Acuña Fariña, is part of the Chile Creating Future strategy, which seeks to tell the story of Chile through talent and position Chileans as agents of change, creators of new ways of thinking and contributing to the world.

Starting this week, the material will be broadcast to the national and international public, translated into 3 languages (Spanish, English and Portuguese), during the next few months, in New York, London, Madrid and Sao Paulo through digital platforms, and is expected to be seen by more than 7 million people.

The campaign will be available on our website www.marcachile.cl.
