Chile's Constitution Could Set a New Standard in Gender Equality

Women's rights activists in Chile say the new Constitution will catalyze progress for women in the country and could set a new global standard for equity in politics.

This weekend, Chileans will elect 155 delegates to the assembly to draft a new constitution, the first in the world to be written by equal numbers of men and women.
