In 2019, Gonzalo Muñoz was given an unprecedented mission: to mobilize the global private sector in the fight against climate change. Chile had selected him as the High-Level Climate Action Champion for COP25, making him the first representative of the private sector to assume this role. The challenge was clear: to get companies, cities, and organizations to move from commitments to concrete action.

Muñoz took on this role after founding TriCiclos and co-founding Sistema B, initiatives that brought the circular economy and social and environmental impact to the forefront of business discourse. Now he had to apply that perspective on a much larger scale.

His story is one of an idea that grew alongside him: that transforming the way we produce, start businesses, and do business can also open up new ways to build the future. What began in Chile as a different perspective on the economy ultimately became an invitation to the entire world: to make change happen.

We are Gonzalo Muñoz.
We are Chile.
