The Foundation and the university signed a collaboration agreement that will strengthen the international work carried out by both organizations. "It has been a long time since we wanted to have an alliance with a university, to enter the academic world, and we are very happy to do it hand in hand with you," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile.

Seeking to continue on the path of promoting science and knowledge of Chile to the world, Imagen de Chile signed a collaboration agreement with the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. This is the first alliance between Fundación Imagen de Chile and a university.

"We are very pleased to sign this agreement with the Fundación Imagen de Chile. We are aware of the great work they have been doing for more than a decade, managing to position Chile as an attractive country in different areas and certainly the university field is tremendously attractive as part of that positioning," said the rector of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Harald Beyer. "If you look at any of the major rankings, whether Times Higher Education or QS, Chile is the country that has the best relative university system in Latin America," he added.

Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez is the university in Chile that has the highest proportion of foreigners in its staff, and is the third in Latin America. In addition, it has shown an increase in the number of international exchange students who choose it, as well as the number of UAI students who travel to study abroad. On the other hand, the university's researchers have research networks in more than 50 countries, and the university has more than 250 agreements with institutions in more than 34 countries. In addition, Beyer explained that within the UAI's 2020-2025 strategic plan, the objective of making it a global university is incorporated.

For her part, the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, explained the scope of this agreement. "Having the opportunity to be in contact with the talent that exists in our country in the most different areas of knowledge -which is an important source of building the country's image-, and to be able to work collaboratively to learn about these stories and tell them, is very important. We have long wanted to have an alliance with a university, to enter the academic world, and we are very happy to do it hand in hand with you," he said. "We have been working for three years now to tell Chile in a different way. As an institution, our mission is that the world knows and prefers us and we have sought to make talent what we are known for," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile.
