The Chile-Spain Foundation presented Imagen de Chile with the Institutional Award for its work in promoting the country's brand internationally and for the close collaboration between the two institutions.
Imagen de Chile received a new international recognition. This time, the Chile-Spain Foundation, in the framework of its tenth anniversary, gave Imagen de Chile the "Institutional Award", for the work developed in promoting the Chile brand internationally, in addition to the close collaboration that both institutions have maintained over the years.
"For the Chile-Spain Foundation it is an honor to present this recognition "FCE X Anniversary Institutional Award" to such an outstanding institution as Imagen de Chile, which, like FCE, pursues the common goal of promoting Chile as a reference in culture, science, innovation, entrepreneurship and tourism," said María Ángeles Osorio, executive director of the Chile-Spain Foundation, based in Madrid. "The constant collaboration that we have maintained during these years between our two institutions, especially in Spain, has been fundamental to strengthen a competitive brand of the country, which aims for Chile to be considered as an attractive destination in all its dimensions and committed to a sustainable growth of the country. Congratulations on the brilliant work you are doing and we hope to continue collaborating to increase the recognition and reputation of the Andean country," he added.
According to studies developed by Imagen de Chile, the familiarity and favorability that Spaniards have towards Chile has been increasing, with 36% stating that our country is very familiar to them, above the average of the 12 international markets periodically evaluated. In addition, Chile is the most chosen by Spaniards in Latin America when doing business, with 38% of preferences, according to the study Imagen de Chile.
"We are very happy and proud to receive this award from the Chile-Spain Foundation, which on its tenth anniversary wanted to distinguish four institutions for their contribution in bringing the two countries closer together," said Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile. "We are happy to receive this award, because we have been working for several years to bring us closer to this country, to bring our cultures closer, to make ourselves known and to occupy a space in the hearts of Spaniards", said Constanza Cea.
The country brand promotion organization has carried out a series of campaigns and activations with the aim of increasing Chile's positioning in Spain. The most recent action was the launch of the campaign "Chile creativity that inspires the world", where renowned tattoo artists in Madrid received works of Chilean literature to inspire them to create exclusive designs on the skin of 3 Spaniards who competed through the social networks of Imagen de Chile. The campaign -which was transformed into an audiovisual piece- toured the world, reaching more than 60 million people in different continents.
