Scientists have made it clear: if we want to avoid the worst effects of climate change we must find a way to keep global temperatures from rising.
The challenge is huge. Temperatures are already 1 degree celsius above pre-industrial levels and, according to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), the effects of an additional increase of only a 0.5°C could be devastating.
Given this situation, many countries are urgently seeking a way of meeting their energy needs without continuing to damage the environment.
One of the solutions that some nations are working on is green hydrogen, also known as renewable hydrogen or e-Hydrogen .
