On March 3, the Chile 2022 Image Meeting "Together, Creating the Future" will be held, a conference that seeks to share experiences and provide tools to contribute to the construction of our country brand, through national and international speakers, such as the renowned international marketing expert Andrew Davis.

Marking the return to country branding events at the international level, on March 3 Imagen de Chile will hold, in a hybrid format, the Image of Chile 2022 Meeting "Together, Creating the Future", aimed at the main public and private actors that contribute to the construction of the country's image.

"The meeting seeks to raise awareness of the value of the country brand and its benefits, in addition to providing updated content on trends in challenging times," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea. "From Imagen de Chile we took the opportunity to turn the tremendous challenge that the pandemic has meant into an opportunity, being just a click away from anywhere in the world. And the results have been remarkable. One year after the launch of our new strategy "Chile Creando Futuro", 130 million people have seen it worldwide, and it has received 3 awards in the most important country branding forums in Portugal and England", said Constanza Cea, executive director of Imagen de Chile.

The event will address various topics, from the role that Imagen de Chile has played in the current context, to successful cases of organizations behind the country brand. It will also include the participation of renowned speakers, such as the co-founder of Sistema B, María Emilia Correa; the international marketing referent Andrew Davis; the deputy director of the GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland Campaign, Kate Taylor Tett; and the CEO of Explora, Gonzalo Undurraga.

The meeting will also include a panel discussion on how to build a country image based on talent, innovation and entrepreneurship, and will present success stories of Chilean companies that are managing to position Chilean talent at a global level.

"The most prosperous countries in the world take advantage of events like the Encuentro Imagen de Chile to do more than just bring a nation's pride and image to life. I have seen how seeds planted at events like this become real opportunities for economic growth and global trade," said Andrew Davis, an international marketing expert, about the event.

The conference will also be attended by representatives of some of the main country branding agencies in Ibero-America, who will be in Chile to participate in the Ibero-American Country Branding Pre-Forum, which our country is hosting this year.

"The Chile Image Meeting is a showcase to show the importance of the Country Brand strategy by disseminating the values for which a nation can become recognized in the world thanks to the support of its business sector. It also showcases international initiatives whose results, more than marketing campaigns, help to strengthen the commitment to create a sustainable society for the benefit of future generations," said Daniel Valverde, country brand director of Costa Rica.

In addition, during the meeting there will be the presentation of the Chile Image Awards, which seek to distinguish the organization and the person who embodies the message of showing our country from the contributions made by Chile to create a better future for the world.
