The visit to the region included meetings with authorities and trade associations, in order to promote the campaigns that the institution is currently leading, as well as to encourage the use of the Chile Brand for products and services in this region, which represents the northern gateway to the country.
The executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, visited the city of Arica, inviting companies and organizations to join the "Use of Chile Brand" program, an initiative promoted by the institution to proudly show the Chilean origin of products and services.
During the visit, the executive director of Imagen de Chile met with authorities of the region, such as the governor of Arica and Parinacota, Jorge Diaz, and the presidential delegate, Roberto Erpel, with whom she was able to discuss how the country image strategy "Chile Creating Future" is being implemented, and seek ways to enhance the country brand, such as the declaration of the Chinchorro culture settlements by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.
Similarly, Constanza Cea met with the president of the Arica Chamber of Commerce, Aldo González, and the director of ProChile Arica, Gloria Collao, to seek instances of collaboration to expand the use of the Chile brand in the region.
"From Imagen de Chile we want more and more actors to promote themselves and decide to carry the Chile Brand seal. Today the region of Arica and Parinacota is part of the creation of the future, from the commercial, migratory and cultural point of view, with the recent declaration of the Chinchorro mummies as a world heritage site by Unesco," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea.
"As an institution, we want to continue promoting from the regions all that our country has to offer to the world, adding more organizations and people that allow us to give visibility to talent, innovation and products, very important letters of introduction that show how Chile is creating a future," he added.
