A group of scientists in Chile created a device that measures CO2 to assess and warn the risk of Covid-19 infections in closed spaces.

"An important factor in the transmission of the virus is through the air, through aerosols, which are very small particles of water that can float in the air over long distances," explained to Xinhua Ricargo Finger, researcher at the University of Chile's Center of Excellence in Astrophysics and Related Technologies (CATA) and one of the creators of the prototype.
