Chile took a new step in its transformation process towards a clean energy matrix. On Tuesday, the construction of Horizonte, which will be the largest wind farm in Latin America, with an installed capacity of 780 MW, was confirmed.
The project will be located in the middle of the Atacama Desert, 130 kilometers from the city of Taltal, in the Antofagasta region. The park will be developed by the company Colbún, which announced an investment of US$ 850 million for its construction.
