"We are living more, but we don't feel like living more": Maite Alberdi, director of "El agente topo", Chilean documentary nominated for an Oscar

When the final scene of "El agente topo", the Chilean documentary directed by Maite Alberdi, arrives, more than one viewer will be left with the feeling that this is a fiction film.

And the main reason for that is perhaps the honesty with which the characters who wander through this beautiful window into life in a home for the elderly in Chile recount their lives. And how Alberdi's lens manages to capture that brutal honesty.

Perhaps that is also the reason why "Agent Mole" is one of the five films nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the Oscars, to be held on Sunday, April 25.
