"Best Communication Strategy: Place Brand", "Best Use of Data" and "Place Brand of the Year" are the three categories in which Chile was selected to compete, being the only South American country nominated for these awards.
Imagen de Chile was nominated in three categories to compete in the 2021 version of the City Nation Place Awards, an instance that highlights the different brands of places around the world, either for their work in promoting the reputation of their city, region or nation; promoting tourism; attracting talent or investment; or increasing economic competitiveness.
Chile competes in the categories "Best Communication Strategy: Place Brand", with the strategy "Chile Creating Future"; "Best Use of Data"; and "Place Brand of the Year", nominations in which it will compete against five other organizations dedicated to country image.
"It is a source of pride for us, not only because we are the only representatives of South America, but also because we are competing in three categories with important references, with our new strategy "Chile Creating Future", which represents all the talent and creativity of Chilean men and women," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea.
The results will be announced next Thursday, November 4, in England, through www.citynationplace.com.
