The process consisted of two stages: first, 10 ventures were selected from a total of 80 from the Her Global Impact academy, a digital innovation program that seeks to empower Spanish-speaking women to lead companies in the 21st century. Then, the entrepreneurship and pitch of the 10 selected were evaluated and the jury chose the 3 winners.
As part of the alliance signed with Her Global Impact, the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, participated as a jury member of the "Her Global Impact Challenge", an instance that allowed selecting entrepreneurs to obtain a scholarship to study at INSEAD, a program of Social Enterprises in Singapore.
"It is key to promote and make visible these women, who, with their effort, talent, vision and creativity, solve global problems, inspire others, and show the world how Chile is contributing with initiatives that seek a better quality of life, a sustainable world, and better communities and societies," said the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea, after participating in this challenge. The jury was also composed of senior executives from Goldman Sachs, Amazon Web Services, Vantrust, Fundación Mustakis, among others.
Her Global Impact carries out this event every year, with the aim of rewarding women entrepreneurs who develop projects and initiatives that seek to solve global problems, applying technology and with a gender focus. The process consisted of different stages: first, 10 out of a total of 80 projects were selected from the Her Global Impact academy, a digital innovation program that seeks to empower Spanish-speaking women to lead companies in the 21st century. Then, on July 2, the entrepreneurship and pitch of the 10 selected companies were evaluated and the jury chose the 3 winners.
"I believe in innovation as the ability to solve problems creatively, based on ideas that contribute to advance according to the new challenges we face as a society; moving the limits of what has been possible so far, using imagination and looking at things differently, with a vision of the future. Her Global Impact is part of this change, empowering women and giving them the tools to lead innovative initiatives, with purpose and impact", added the executive director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea.
